Professor, Physics


Joined the Department of Physics, Union Christian College in 1989.

Now  a professor of Physics and actively  involved in Material Science research.

I am presently supervising four students for their Doctoral degree and eight students have successfully completed their PhD under my supervision. I also teach various courses for both graduate and undergraduate students. A list of courses I have taught from 2011 to 2018 can be found here.

Research Interests

Nano-materials and Thin Films and their applications in opto-electronic, antibacterial and catalytic devices,and in the fabrication of dye sensitized and thin film solar cells and transparent diodes
